Born and raised in country NSW, Benjamin Kirkby moved to Melbourne in 2016. During his time competing his bachelor of creative writing (honors) at Deakin University, he developed an interest in screenwriting, short stories, and creative nonfiction. Long term, Benjamin’s main project is a science fiction novel titled ‘The Keystone’. He has previously written for other publications including The Footy Almanac (https://www.footyalmanac.com.au/author/ben-the-artist/), as well as having worked as a radio presenter prior to his studies.
